Metabolomics of ginger based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry technology

Abstract Objectives Dried ginger and are the same type of medicine food. The differential components dried ginger, charcoal were investigated. Materials Methods experimental materials divided into three sample groups: group, group. group qualitatively analyzed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry. data processed Marker View Software. Principal component analysis orthogonal partial least-square discriminant performed SIMCA 13.0 groups as well a variable importance in projection > 2 (P < 0.05) identified PeakView 1.2 Results Ten components, including 6-gingerol, 8-gingerol, 10-gingerol, between group; 13 6-shogaol, zingiberone, Conclusions main gingerols diphenylheptanes. Based on metabolomics chemical composition ginger’s medicinal materials, effects, other related factors, it is recommended that zingiberone should be used indicative for respective quality evaluation charcoal. results this study may provide basis reasonable materials.
